Two vehicles in the Honda line-up have received distinguished honors from Kiplinger's Personal Finance. Both the 2013 Honda Accord and the 2013 Honda C-RV merited "Best Value" awards; the Accord also received the title of "Best New Model" vehicle in the $30,000-$40,000 category, while the C-RV was named "Best in Class" in the Small Crossover category.

For decades, Kiplinger has been a leader in forecasting and advising consumers with unbiased, sound recommendations for buying automobiles. Every year they review hundreds of vehicles and rank them according to safety, performance, price and overall value, spaciousness, and driving impressions. This year, twenty-two vehicles will be featured in the March issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, which will be available at newsstands and online athttp://www.kiplinger.com on February 5, 2013.

This is the second consecutive year that the C-RV has received the "Best Value" award, and receiving the rating for "Best in Class" adds to its list of honors. The compact crossover is noted for its innovation and outstanding cargo space.

The prestigious "Best New Model" award recognizes the 2013 Accord for its sophisticated style, excellent packaging, and expansive list of standard features.

"The newly designed Accord offers more features than ever before," continued Bromer. "Honda researched what consumers wanted in a family sedan and packaged those features in the Accord. They even added a keyless ignition."

In addition to the Kiplinger awards, the Accord was designated the "Top Safety Pick Plus" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, their highest possible rating. The editors of the Car and Driver's magazine have also placed the Accord on their "Ten Best Cars" list for the twenty-seventh time.
