Nissan is expected to launch the second-generation Versa line-up in the summer of 2013. The Versa Note, a hatchback utility, anticipates consumer needs by featuring the Nissan "Around View Monitor" parking assist system and exceptional fuel efficiency.

Making its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, this entry-level segment is available in both standard and top-of-the-line packages. The Versa Note is equipped with a 1.6 liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine, jolting 109 horsepower and 107 pounds of torque, with dual fuel injection and Twin CVTC (continuously Variable Timing Control). The S Plus and SV models are fitted with Nissan's Xtronic CVT transmission. The aerodynamics are compelling, achieving a coefficient drag of .29, along with a lightweight engine that offers exceptional fuel efficiency of forty miles-per-gallon on the highway and thirty-one miles-per-gallon city driving — averaging thirty-five miles-per-gallon. Designed for low CO2 emissions and high fuel efficiency, the Versa Note is expected to deliver a best-in-class performance.

This five-passenger vehicle is offered in eight sporty exterior colors and provides over twenty-one cubic feet of cargo space. Split, fold-down seats are standard, creating a large flat cargo hold. An adjustable hidden floor is also available, allowing valuables to be hidden under the floor-board and providing a deeper well for hauling taller items.

The Versa Note offers a wide range of available options. The most impressive is Nissan's advanced Around View Monitor, offered in the SL Tech Package, which provides a 360-degree view around the vehicle. Four wide-angle cameras are mounted in the car, enabling the driver to see around tight spaces. NissanConnect and heated mirrors are also part of this package.

The 2014 Nissan Versa Note can be purchased in three different grade levels: the S, the S Plus, and the SV. Three distinctive packages are also offered: the Convenience, the SL, and the SL Tech. The introduced base-line Suggested Retail Price is $13,990.
