This new limited-production version coupe was formulated with the legendary Skip Barber, founder of Skip Barber Racing School and owner of the New England circuit. BMW will only produce two hundred of the Lime Rock Park Edition coupes, and only two of these vehicles are for sale in the Chicago area. The custom exterior of this special edition is painted Fire Orange, and comes with the Competition Package designed for the M3: a carbon fiber roof panel, a light-weight inconel-titanium exhaust muffler, and carbon fiber aero kits in front and rear. The black interior features anthracite cloth seats trimmed in Nappa Leather, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Each Lime Rock Park Edition BMW M3 Coupe includes a certificate of authenticity, a numbered plaque positioned on the center console, and a special decal located on the left-rear window.

Under the hood, the coupe’s signature power has been left untouched. This specialized coupe is equipped with the M3's 4.0-liter V-8 engine, with 414 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and is integrated with a six-speed manual transmission.
